The Missouri Chapter of the American College of Surgeons connects surgeons across specialties, institutions, career stages, and communities to advance excellence in surgical care.

One Statewide Chapter for the House of Surgery

MOACS is the Missouri state chapter of the American College of Surgeons. While other organizations may serve individual surgical specialties, MOACS brings together professionals from throughout the broader surgical community.

We create opportunities for Missouri surgeons to exchange knowledge, develop professional relationships, support emerging leaders, and address issues affecting surgery and patient care throughout the state.

Advancing Education

MOACS supports lifelong learning through its Annual Scientific Meeting, continuing medical education, research presentations, and the exchange of knowledge across specialties.

Strengthening Advocacy

We are working to build a stronger statewide voice for Missouri surgeons on policies and issues affecting clinical practice, the profession, and access to quality surgical care.

Building Community

We connect academic and community surgeons, residents, fellows, medical students, and other members of the surgical care community from across Missouri.

Developing Leaders

MOACS offers opportunities to serve on committees, contribute to chapter initiatives, mentor others, and take an active role in the future of surgery.

The national ACS offers membership categories for different career stages and surgical roles. MOACS should confirm which categories are eligible for Missouri Chapter membership before these are published.
