Chapter Objectives

  1. To promote fellowship among Missouri surgeons with the common goal of elevating the standards of surgical practice.
  2. To provide mediums to exchange information of common interest.
  3. To provide a forum for members to influence young surgeons and surgeons in training on matters of patient care and ethics of practice.
  4. To offer collective and individual members' assistance to other groups attempting to enhance the health of the community.
  5. To focus community attention on national college programs concerning trauma, cancer, patient education, and socio-economic issues.
  6. To participate in socioeconomic activities at the state and federal levels.
